S4ES: Software engineer education and engineering of educational software
With over forty years since its inception, software engineering has established itself as a renowned professional discipline with educational needs of its own. As much as software engineering has always defined the technological vanguard, teaching it rarely formed the educational vanguard, even though both the difficulty of the subject and its importance in the contemporary world call for more effective ways of education. The session aims to address this gap by seeking to elicit presentation of new approaches to software engineering education, both original and adopted from other fields, and regardless of their stage of development (from conceptual to verified in large scale). On the other hand, the prevalence of Information Technology, and especially the omnipresence of the Internet, not only put the educational software to widespread use, but also, as it became more and more complex and specialized, made it an intriguing object of interest for software engineering. Hence the second aim of the session: to gather and discuss examples of sophisticated educational software systems and architectures, as well as methods and tools used to design and develop them.

WeMoS: Special Session on Web and Mobile Software Development
Nowadays, computing systems are growing in capability and complexity including software, hardware, networks, communication, platforms, services, etc. Various kinds of novel computing concepts aims to discover, develop and deploy the computational and networking capabilities to join our real and virtual worlds towards the smart world. Development of novel IT solutions creates the new forms of applications, systems, their models and architectures. At the same time, applications and systems must be trustworthy to ensure the confidence of systems and their data to remain secure and available for users. Security in Web and mobile applications or systems is the key factor to enable the dynamic interaction of various users, services and systems.
Rapid growth in the field of Web and mobile application is observed over the past decade. Development of such applications fulfills very important role in everyday life of growing number of users, especially smartphone and tablet users. Such trend contributes to the change in software development techniques which turn towards establishing new standards for modeling, designing and creating of Web and mobile applications or systems as well as for data security of such applications.

DAARTS: Development, Analysis and Applications of Real-Time Systems
Real-time systems constitute systematically growing branch of modern industry and research. They are computer systems where computations have to be algorithmically correct as well as finished within the assumed timing constraints. A significant amount of them is embedded into medical, robotic, aviation, transport, diagnostic and control installations and support safety-critical applications.
This special session relates to current inventions and applications in the area of real-time systems. It is opened both for researches investigating new ways of formal description and analysis of time-related systems and for practitioners who intend to share their experiences in embedded systems implementation and development.
