Presentation: Board Programming: To Empower End-Users and to Relieve Developers
Abstract:
As the shortage of professional developers is growing, end-user programming is becoming more and more interesting. However, existing programming paradigms and the languages based on them seem far away from what end-user programmers would need, especially in the area of Management Information Systems.
During the invited talk the paradigm of Board Programming will be presented including results of early experiments aimed at investigating its understandability. Moreover, some open issues and future research will be addressed.

Abstract:
Siedemdziesięciolecie informatyki polskiej oraz dwudziestolecie konferencji KKIO skłania ku refleksji czym jest informatyka, a w szczególności, czym jest inżynieria oprogramowania. Przypomina się rozumienie pojęcie inżynierii oprogramowania jako jednej z dyscyplin informatyki. Zasadnicza część wykładu jest poświęcona omówieniu paradygmatów, problemów i perspektyw rozwoju inżynierii oprogramowania.
