On the second day of the conference (Thursday, 12 September, afternoon), we will visit Tykocin, a historical city 30 km away from Bialystok.
Before Bialystok became a capital of Podlasie region, Tykocin played this role and many critical events in Polish history took place there.
We’ll have a guided tour around Tykocin, visiting a synagog and a Tykocin Castle. We will end the evening with a dinner in the Tykocin Castle.
Buses will take us from the conference site to Tykocin and back. The details will be announced closer to the event.
